A handsome Vintage Shipibo-Conibo polychrome pottery offering cup. The Shipibo-Conibo tribes of the Ucayali River are located in the the Upper Amazon in Peru. Cup is hand formed and hand painted, with very fine and colorful patterns. Shipibo pottery is know for its intricate symmetrical geometric designs, this offering cup was likely made in the 1960's. Cup is in excellent condition.
CONDITION: Excellent Condition- wear is consistent with age and history. No chips, cracks or repairs. Some light crazing to interior on glaze. Very clean, colors are vivid. Rim has some very small flea bites Please see images and video for full description
