Bird sculpture by Hornby Island artist David Gray. This is an intricately detailed pottery sculpture of an eagle fledgling dated 1979. David is well known for his original motorized animatronic art sculptures, some works are featured in Island parades. He produced pottery earlier in his career which he sold at local fairs throughout the islands. Davids work is always unique and whimsical. Piece is engraved "David Gray 79" on base
CONDITION: Very good condition, highly detailed. Slight damage to end of beak (see photo and video) No cracks or repairs.
