Denby Stoneware and teak Salt and Pepper shakers designed by David Yorath. Great piece of Mid-Century pottery in Denby's Potters Whee line from the 1970's made in England. Shakers are finished in a simple salt glaze with a blue top and spattered brown and beige body. There is contrasting raised dots which adds a contrasting texture. Stoneware tops are placed on a solid teak body. Teak and stoneware are in Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, shakers have original plastic stoppers. Very solid and stylish pieces of utilitarian pottery in blue.
