Hand Carved Wood Bird Figure | Salta Argentina

A hand-carved folk art wooden bird from the Wichi people of the Gran Chaco region in Salta, Argentina dating to the 1980s. The wood’s warm natural tones, grain and patina give it an understated charm, with a pale shell beak adding contrast and wire legs supporting the bird on a solid wood base.
