Hand Carved Wood Duck Figure | Salta Argentina Mallard

Hand-carved wooden mallard produced by the Wichi people of the Gran Chaco region of Salta, Argentina. Bird is shown in flight with raised wings and an outstretched neck. Contrasting woods give it a lovely mix of deep brown and warm honey tones, with visible grain and shell inlay adding detail to the stylized design. Mounted on a simple wooden base.
