Finely detailed piece of vintage folk art by Red Fairhall, hand craved wood Wren with metal feet mounted on pedestal. Red Fairhall was a Vancouver Island wood carver located in Sydney BC. He carved many different bird species for the local tourist market. These carvings are quite intricate and well proportioned. Base is marked by artist " Winter Wren in Cedar". Piece is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks on bird, piece is structurally sound with original patina.
