Ian Steele (1937-2011) studio pottery, stoneware jug. Tan olive glaze over shallow finger grooves.
Jug has one chip to spout and one chip along the rim (see photos) , still presents beautifully.
Vancouver School of Art Graduate 1961, apprenticed with Bernard Leach in St Ives 63-65 and as a staff potter until 1969.
Ran his own pottery on Vancouver Island and in Chudleigh, Devon.
