Leon Corbet was a Belgian painter born in 1930, studied art primarily in Paris and Amsterdam. Best known for his post-impressionist oil paintings depicting city scenes of Paris and Amsterdam. This oil painting has strong deep textured brush strokes, depicting a bridge over a canal.
