Another Finely detailed piece of vintage folk art by Red Fairhall (1926-2001) , hand carved bird of a Red Tree Creeper which is mounted on a cedar pedestal. Red Fairhall was a Vancouver Island wood carver located in Sydney BC. He carved many different bird species for friends and the local tourist market, they are finely carved with subtle details. Base is marked by artist " Red Tree Creeper in Cedar" with artists name. Piece is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, piece is structurally sound with original patina. Has some scratch marks to beak.
